Microsoft is horrible, I missed a lot of email because of this bug.
If you cannot fix it, at least you should tell users which email got rejected, right?
Anyway, I found my way to get the rejected notifications.
1. Sign up a Zoho account (https://mail.zoho.com/signup.do)
2. Set your Hotmail forward to your Zoho mail.
3. Set your Zoho mail forward to your Gmail.
For any rejected mails, zoho will send a notification to your Gmail like this:
Technical details of the failure:
5.7.1 Unauthenticated email from microsoft.com is not accepted due to
5.7.1 domain’s DMARC policy.
